The top 100 male and female participants in each age group will receive direct entry to the 2025 Wuxi Marathon.
Age groups are categorized as follows (calculated by subtracting the year of birth from 2025):
The age group ranking is based on the participants' positions in the overall ranking of this year’s marathon event, not the ranking in any single past event. If a participant qualifies for direct entry based on their age group ranking and also meets other direct entry requirements, the remaining spots in the age group will not be filled by the next ranked participants.
5.7.4 Performance Direct Entry: Participants who register for the Marathon event, and whose best marathon result in an 'A1 Class Race' listed on the 'Runchina' website and held between January 1, 2023, and January 5, 2025, is within 3 hours (for men) or within 3 hours and 20 minutes (for women), will qualify for direct entry. A maximum of 5,000 male and 5,000 female participants in the marathon event will be granted direct entry. If the number of qualifiers exceeds 5,000 for either gender, the participants will be ranked by their best performance, and only the top 5,000 in each gender category will be granted direct entry. No performance proof is required during registration. After the pre-registration process ends, the organizing committee will collectively check the participants' historical results on the 'China Marathon' website.
